This is a kang of x13thangelx's AOKP b39 port.

Thanks to 1loudsvt, Eiht, x13thangelx, all developers who did anything to ICS on these devices, and all the developers who made the apps I included. I included a lot and there were a lot of people involved in the apps. If you want to thank those devs feel free to donate to them in the play store or track down them on the forums. Thanks to the android and linux communities for being so open and constantly growing.

Because of everything added and taken away some of the less essential apps were moved to /data/app instead of /system/app. This shouldn't effect the operation of anything. But you need to know this in case you decide it would be a good idea to "wipe data/factory reset" then wonder where xx app went.

Instructions:
Download to SD
Verify MD5Sum
Reboot to recovery
Nandroid
Wipe data/format user
Install from SD
Wipe cache
Reboot

To boot to bootmenu:
Reboot
The M will dim and a light will flash blue
Hit the volume down button
Navigate the bootmenu with the volume buttons
Select things with the power or camera buttons
-From bootmenu you can boot to RZ-Recovery or CWM Recovery

Bugs:
All typical ICS bugs... Netflix, Camcorder/Panarama, built-in wifi/usb tether
Wifi "add network" FCs...trying to figure that out
Start up tweaks in rom control may or may not work. This ROM has start up tweaks I made and this setting control is not needed.

NOTE:
The d2g's cpu clock speed is set the same as the d2/dx.
To change this:
When the phone is booting and it flashes the blue light at the M symbol hit the down volume button.
Use volume to go up and down and camera to select.
Select CPU settings
Edit to your hearts content.

Fixed a line in 13kernel that was causing a hang I was experiencing. Edited romcontrol so that the init.d option no longer works. It will FC if you select it. It was interferring with my tweaks.

The various tweaks done were in favor of performance with a complete disregard for battery life. That being said, I'm not sure how battery life is yet. I'd imagine it's not that bad, but it's not a battery sipper.

And as far as GSM data, I have no way to test it. So I await all the "gsm doesn't work" posts.

tested on my droid 2 global Digicel GSM network st.lucia
"com.android.phone" has stopped working so im assuming gsm doesnt work
would be great to see support for gsm on this ics build for the d2g :)

How about before reporting that GSM does not work you people actually try activating it like it was always done before?

Ignore the error. Enable airplane mode. Add data toggle widget to the notification pulldown. Long tap the data toggle widget. In the mobile network settings, choose network type: GSM/WCDMA pref. and then disable airplane mode. Phone will crash once more and then connect to GSM.

NOTE: If the network type list contains elements like “LTE only”, the order is most possibly off. In that case you should try list items 3 and 4 and ignore the type labels.

Repeating: if any LTE-related items are present, the item names in the network type list SHOULD NOT be trusted.

I didn't check it myself if anything, just repeating what I have been posting in all other ROM threads. GSM works fine after performing these tricks on most ROMs; the main problem with CM9-based ones is definitely the network type lists. They're also extremely fscked up in non-US English localisations, too, so I recommend to use US English if you want the network settings section to be working and not force closing when you try to enter it.

Yes I ran through all these steps that's what I meant by "tested"

Update: Phone.apk is built without GSM support.

Most probably taken from a D2 build.
