I take it everyone has jumped ship on this device since I see no development what so ever. Its sad I really like the xyboard I thought it was a solid little tablet

I'm thinking so too. I've seen some referencecs about a Droid Razr 404 one click Root working on the ICS update but haven't actually found it.
Not sure if there is a working recovery and stock ICS restore files either.

Depends on the version you have. I think there are fastboot files for the Verizon versions but not the WiFi versions. You can root the ICS update with that payload and there is a very beta recovery floating around. I gave mine to my mom and she uses it way more than I ever did so I've been away for awhile. There might have been some more work since I last looked.
