Keep getting message saying com.android.phone has stopped working and then I lose all service to Verizon. I have been running jelly bro 4.2. Tried different ROMs and still get the same thing. Thanks

If nothing else works, try getting a new sim card.

I am flashing everything as is.

The problem came from me accidentally fromatting the sd-card instead of formatting system before flashing an new ROM.
This of course wiped everyting so I could not load a backup and had to reboot with the ROM that had already been installed with a wiped data, dalvik, and "sd-card'

Sucks you had to erase your memory card. I had the same issue. All you had to do was go to settings>more>mobile networks>switch wcdma to Lte/CDMA and reboot.
