Are there any other changes in 4.3 to Bluetooth to make it more reliable? And is anyone else having Bluetooth Music output in Mono and not Stereo on 4.2?

Okay everyone, Android 4.3 is here!!
Before you get started, we have to go through a couple of quick things. The installation process for this one will be a little bit different than normal, so please follow the directions below. If you mess this up, your phone won't blow up or anything, but things might not work exactly how they are supposed to.

Before you get started, get excited! Although Android 4.3 isn't a huge OS change, it is very smooth and I think you'll enjoy it ;)

Step 1: Download everything you need
The 7/24 ROM
The new tuna PRIMEMD04 bootloader
Chainfire's 4.3 root ZIP (If you want root)

Step 2: Install everything, follow these steps!
  • Reboot into recovery
  • Flash PRIMEMD04 bootloader
  • Reboot back into recovery (usually from the advanced menu of your recovery)
  • Wipe cache
  • Wipe dalvik cache
  • Flash 7/24 ROM
  • IF ROOT IS DESIRED - Flash Chainfire 4.3 root ZIP
  • Reboot
**If you experience problems, PLEASE repeat steps 3-8, but also wipe data/factory reset and format /system. If your problem still occurs, let us know here in the thread.

If you get this up and running (and rooted if you wish) then future builds will be a quick install, and they will also keep root just like before :)

Enjoy!

Bluetooth (initially 3.0, 4.0 enabled in Android 4.3 update) - Per Wikipedia of Galaxy Nexus

You can try, but I haven't tested it myself. I'd recommend a clean flash. Please check out my post about installing.
