My uncle has an unrooted inspire 4g and suffers from dyslexia. he is looking for an app that is capable of reading all text regardless of what app the text is in. the iPhone has this feature but my uncle really likes android. he's saying if there is a way for him to select any text and have the phone read it to him he will not get an iphone
i think he will be satisfied if he could just make the phone read his emails in a similar fashion to the iphone and web pages would be a bonus. i have been unable to find anything in talk back that indicates reading selections only. he does not want the phone to always be speaking to him. i have suggested using an app that he can copy and past in but hes not sure that is how far he wants to go to make it do that.he would much rather that option be included right beside copy and past or something along those lines.
My uncle's email is an exchange account through his work if that helps.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
