Hey,
Download the proper v905r restore images from here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/v1lzon
Download the updated img and bct files in the following zip,
http://depositfiles....files/kj50nw5we
Extract the contents of the second zip into that of the first.
Boot into APX mode (follow same steps as in the guide you referenced)
Then try this command instead of the one in that link,
./nvflash --bct v905r.bct --setbct --configfile flash.cfg --create --bl bootloader.bin --odmdata 0x3b048000 --go
If it doesn't work let me know and I will upload my recovery images and tool but hopefully this should work.
If it doesn't work then try the same command using my recovery images in the zip I linked in the next post.

Incase you or someone else finds it helpful. I uploaded my recovery images, used with the command in my previous post and it should be able to unbrick any LG v905r. (Radio not included, for that you need to run the ClockworkMod Recovery zip I posted in the Development section)

I did as you said. Everything went smoothly, but I notice that the 'Superuser' icon is still there. Superuser = rooted, doesn't?
