downloading now, i'll test it out and report back. anything specific that you want me to look for? or is it a general comparison to the CM10 alpha build you have going? Im under the impression that this is up to date with bug fixes in the alpha build. will report back tomorrow sir.

so im an idiot and didnt read that it was a kernel and not a rom..... wiped everything and installed, wondered why there was only a white screen for 4 minutes... flashing cm10 alpha and then this... smh , needs to be an emoticon in which it slaps itself....

I flashed the September 4th cm10 and this kernel so I can't compare to running against the stock kernel which I've not used. The change log shows hdmi audio as working. Mine is not. Im not sure if that could be a kernel issue. Everything seems to run very smoothly though at the default cpu frequency. Also, the red notification LED never turns off while the screen is asleep. Im not sure if the notification LED not working bug cited in the release notes includes this. How can I get back to the stock kernel to test? Thanks devs.

Yep, mine isn't working either. I tried CM 10 with Stock kernel first, sound worked fine. After flashing this kernel, however, sound is gone. Definitely a kernel issue. Shame.

Nevermind, was trying to reboot to recovery to do a nandroid restore, accidentally did a regular reboot, and now sound works fine. Strange but whatever works.

HDMI audio isn't listed as working, that's listed in the known issues that its not working

Hi, I'm currently running build 20121016. Is this kernel considered newer? older? or just the same with overclocking?
How does it run compared to stock?
If I try it and would like to go back to stock, I just flash the whole ROM again?

Thanks all!
