Maybe try the mrsmith build a few posts back

I ended up going back to the 2014-06-25 version, and this one appears stable.  It takes 29 seconds to boot the phone now.

I noticed when I loaded 2014-06-25, it went through the app optimization step before I got into the OS.  On version 2014-07-14, it never optimized the apps.  I think there's a bug in 2017-07-14.

Could be. I might skip the build and wait for this week or next a week's. But... Mrsmith doesn't seem to have problems.

I wouldn't exactly say I'm not having problems. Technically, my phone boots and works but I do notice the boot takes longer than normal. I've been absolutely swamped with work lately and haven't been able to research. There have been a few d2 specific commits recently and I see CM's gerrit has kernel commits. If I ever get some down time, I'll test the kernel commits (if they're not merged by then). For now, I'll put together a straight build tonight to see if it helps.

Thanks for all you're doing, my phone hasn't run this well in a long time. Although the last day or so it's been a little weird.

So, here's a quick build. It does have a USB fix cherry pick (http://gerrit.aokp.co/#/c/17700/).

Flashed it, took like 6 minutes on the AOKP screen. Works fine so far though. Subsequent reboots seem like it goes faster, though. Will report how it runs! thanks!
