Check out the ROM feature list here!

  • Use the 'VZW GS3 EZ-Recovery App' to flash the CWM recovery image(below) and reboot into recovery
  • Format system, data, and cache
  • Flash the zip
  • Then flash GApps.
  • Reboot
    • NOTE: With kexec, your device will appear to bootloop twice. This is expected and is the hijack running its course. Just sit tight and you'll see the unicorns in action soon enough.
  • Upon welcome screen just touch the 4 corners of the welcome screen clockwise starting at top left to skip activation.
  • Profit!

Kexec-Enabled CWM 6.0.1.0: d2vzw_recovery.img

ROM: aokp_d2vzw_milestone-6.1.zip

GApps: gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip

What works:
Pretty Much Everything

What doesn't work:
  • Data can be glitchy at times.
  • MMS, this is due to current Phone Number not being recognized by device.
  • When receiving Notification during audio playback(music, netflix, youtube, etc). Audio does not auto-resume. Press volume button to resume it for now.

Oh my, OC up to 1998 Mhz? You are a god BMc! This is the smoothest I've ever experienced on the S3. Thanks for all your hard work :)

OP, is the default max cpu speed the OC speed or is it stock. If its not stock you think you can change it for compatibility issues on some peeps phones?

It's stock 1.5 Ghz. Trust me, the S4 Snapdragon CPU is a VERY overclockable CPU compared to a GNex TI OMAP CPU. I'm willing to bet this thing can surpass 2 Ghz no problem.

EDIT: Take that back, it boots up with 1890 Mhz. But still, most, if not all the S3's can boot up at that clock speed without instabilities.
