It is with great pleasure that we are here to announce the arrival of Liquid - Ice Cream Sandwhich (toro / maguro) V 1.5. V1.5 is without a doubt a Milestone release for us. It brings to the table unmatched customization & user- control, while providing excellent battery life, rock strength stability, & speed only a Liquid Smooth Rom could deliver. It truly marks a step towards the goal of our project *to bring slim & flawless firmware to the toro / maguro & to get the utmost out of your "phone!" A very big thank you to our beta testers & IRC channel community members / Liquid Smooth family, as well as all of you here at Rootzwiki! The entire Team is stoked about this release & we are certain that you'll love it, to! Please, enjoy! Also, stay tuned, as 1.X is in the works as I type...

Also, if you guys have a concern that we cannot adress here in the Rootzwiki thread, or youd like to contribute a great new idea for improving our project, we welcome you to join us @ IRC.FREENODE.NET; #LIQUIDS.

  • This will NOT be updated to JB.
  • I have not tested every single aspect of this rom so if you notice a problem please bring it to my attention, preferably accompanied by a logcat

Hi, is anyone else having trouble with the notification bar with notification s not showing up? And with being unable to change the toggle buttons at all?

Also,I didn't see it in the op but are we not supposed to flash gapps with this Rom?

All toggles seem to be working for me, however I am also on the last beta build before the release. However, I am getting some wonky things not working in system control. Clean install. Going to do a clean install on 1.5 tomorrow and if I get same results I'll log it. And yeah, gapps is required. The usual 4/29 gapps (the same one I use with all ICS ROMs except MIUI v4... Gummy, CM9, AOKP; works fine)

For the most part gapps are required except for - OEM builds (blur-based, sense-based, touchwiz-based) and -MIUI builds. Though now MIUI is seperating the gapps, so I'd assume eventually they will just have specialized gapps.

Is the camera / camcorder working properly?

Just played with pr0ject 0map. Battery was not good and was getting constant force-quits on any Google app that uses scrolling (Currents, Gmail, Drive, etc). Is that working in this ROM?

The OP says Gapps is included (not required):

Theyre supposed to be integrated but I always flash them out of habit so no sure...

Everything /should/ be working that is in Gummy. So camera does but camcorder will not (use Lgcamera and it does though).

I havent had anything like that but I also didn't really put it through its paces. Tweeted a test build last night and didn't have any reports of that though.
