My benchmark tests on AnTuTu, Chainfire's app, Linpack and Quadrant all went down actually. That said, this is an early Linaro-based build, and there *may* be improvements in later builds, if Linaro actually does anything to improve real-life performance.

This may be one of the most ridiculous notions I have ever read on the internet. That is like saying AOKP b1-10 sucks and Roman is a jerk because he didn't add all this awesomeness upfront or that auto manufacturers can't be forgiven for releasing stock models of their cars so I had to add headers, cold air intake, a turbo kit, and stickers to make it go faster. ICS is leaps and bounds better than eclair and I'm sure JB will be just that much better than the next release and JB will be garbage in comparison to the next. These roms exist because people like to tweak, play, and push the limits. Developers on the internet have a lot more leeway to F stuff up than Google does. We take more grief & "this don't work" from devs but you know full well that if Google released the very same product (which is has) there would be an uproar in complaints. If you don't like how Google does business with their OS releases I'm sure you'd be a lot happier on iOS 6. /rant

So been running the linaro b38 since yesterday & I must say it is faster. It may be the newness of it or even a placebo but it definitely seems faster. So far no big issues to report and I look forward what more code merges have to bring us.

Just installed both those apps to test, and I can confirm I get the same errors as you. Latest linaro build (03), GLaDOS 1.34, maguro.

Been running this for a day not sure if apps open quicker but for example the gallery loads up alot quicker and transitions are 100% flawless every time. Also turn your animation speed up to 0.5 and everything (if not in reality is snap pier) seems snappier. This is promising and stop running benchmarks people.
