I understand that AOKP had to remove the hacked facebook sync to be on par with android requirements. However there are some amongst us who liked the feature and don't feel that custom paid apps on the the store are the right way. Is it something that can be created into a quick flashable zip for those who want to deviate from android requirements? If so, can someone make it?

Dropbox is a great place to store files that you need on the go. Android apps like TiBu can leverage Dropbox. Sign up using http://db.tt/OGvqdBCp and we both get more space.

Is this the reason they had to remove facebook sync? I thought it was because it was breaking some other synching.
How can this be required when other phones can have it built in?
