Can anyone advise of a known good method to root the HTC Velocity 4G where the required files actually exist (e.g. PH39IMG.zip is not missing or different)? I've seen the superguide but would be grateful for some confirmation that it actually works with the Telstra model.

Sorry if this is in the wrong area but support for the Velocity seems to be a bit of a mine field and your (Leigh's) stuff looks to be better than anything else I've seen so far. If I can root the Velocity I can then proceeed with trying your ROM. Thx

Actually, the project is short of time and people right now.

I've been busy working on some multi-million dollar investment plans.

Also, work has been heavy with the holiday season.

So, for this project to continue to work; I need people who can develop and code.

What exactly do you need? We have a few ppl who worked on cm maybe you should get together with them on xda. This phone could have a lot of ppl worked together
