I have data drop problem after using M5 (4.0.4)
radio=XXLA2

the problem is not exist in M4 (4.0.3)

i don't know is it really relate the problem in IMM76D signal bug

in the first i think it is Faux's kernel problem (include 17m),
Faux123 findout someone using franco also have data drop problem

then i change a few kernel, seem everyone have data drop problem, (test 3-4 hours)
sometime require reboot the phone to fix it

my carrier using UMTS 900mHz + 2100mHz
Do dual band relate the problem?

which kernel and radio you using?

Yes, O2 UK on, in this case, 2G network.

I have been on wifi all day and when I shut it off, I have no GPRS connection, nor is my device intent on making one - result, no comms.

Running M5 with stock kernel. It has been upgraded from B32 though, but I don't think this is the problem (and I can't be bothered to test ;) )

I use lean kernel and have data drops since 4.0.4.
an airplane cycle solves it (in such cases switching to airplane mode takes like 1 minute) than from that point everything works fine.

people who do not have the problem are less likely to come here to vote. I don't have issues btw, but im not using the supplied kernel.

Aokp m5 default caused data drops for me. Since i installed franco kernel no more drops occured. I am very happy now. Brilliant rom!
I by the way use xxla2 radio which improved signal a lot.

Confirmed, M5 + Franco's most recent kernel appears to have resolved this for me.
