I have tried for two days to get my repo upload to work. I have read through multiple posts, and tried every guide I can find. I keep getting errors about "Permissions denied: Public key". I got an SSH test connection to WORK.....ONCE. But I dont know what I did. Im still stuck not being able to do the upload. I have everything else working, like git commit, add, and all that, just cant get it to upload. I want to help contribute to AOKP, but Im just not getting anywhere. Ughhhh

I am facing the similar...i did a repo upload for the three commits and were successfully pushed to aokp gerrit..but now, it does not seems to work...dont know why...

repo upload .
Upload project packages/apps/Browser/ to remote branch ics:
  branch close ( 1 commit, Fri Jun 1 16:37:28 2012 +0530):
495430c6 Added a menu item in Browser called Close other tabs
to gerrit.sudoservers.com (y/N)? y
Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

----------------------------------------------------------------------
[FAILED] packages/apps/Browser/ close (Upload failed)

I love this guide.

Is it possible to commit locally, so when one syncs they do not get errors? Since I am working on a spin off of AOKP, it would be inappropriate to commit changes to your repo. Maybe can figure out a way to change to my github? I'm happy to compile, but as far as gits go, I'm clueless.

Thanks for any feedback :)

Recommend running a local_manifest of forking the platform_manifest for aokp and then just basing your build dir off of your manifest vs AOKP's

Builds aren't tagged, so there's no easy way to go back in time other than reverting the commits since build 40. Also, this should be in the build AOKP thread, not the gerrit thread.

So now that JB is being worked on, I am looking to pull some fairly minor (in most eyes, basically functionality to me) patches from the ICS branch and integrate them to JB. How would you go about pull the request from ICS, dealing with some conflicts and then uploading to gerrit. My example below.

http://gerrit.sudose...m:8080/#/c/732/

pulled the change and had a bunch of conflicts. I can definitely go through the code and insert all the changes then upload but I want to give the original author proper credit.

Both. Roman posts instructions for both when they differ (Generating SSH keys).
