Question for the gurus on a tablet spec

I know this is a strange place to ask, but with my Touchpad journey I've really gained a lot of respect for the touchpad gurus and trust your opinions greatly.

I bought a Quantum G-pad for my wife back in June and it's been pretty nice for her. It's cheep enough that I was considering picking up a second one to use and wanted to know how the specs compare to our touchpads.

I understand RAM and storage but don't know enough about the CPU, GPU, etc to know how it compares to the Touchpad.

Any thoughts?

Here's the specs:

* Multi-touch HD+ 1280x800 capacitive screen is responsive, sharp and interactive

However, reading the specs and understanding what the specs are telling you are not the same thing. To made an informed decision for a technically difficult buying decision is a considerable learning curve and the luxury of an abundance of free time. The best of us still scan the web for opinions by respected techies, especially for obscure CPUs and GPUs.
Good luck, Ocelot.

Well you managed to look up and post the specs for your wife's tablet. Look up and compare the TouchPad's specs to her tablet. How hard is that?

My opinion, from what you posted, it's a better tablet. More powerful processor, better video, big battery, expandable memory. It supports attaching external devices via USB which the TouchPad can do, but not very well. The fact that you can plug in a SD card which the TouchPad cannot do gives it a big advantage.

Have you read any reviews of the Matricom g-tab? That will tell you more about it than comparing it to a three year old TouchPad. What other users say to me holds more worth.

Thank you, Nevertells. Googled both specs to compare, but not knowing much about hardware brands and what some of the numbers actually translate in actual user terms, I thought I'd take a chance and ask some of the gurus here.

Thanks again though, I do appreciate any help I can get.
