Virtuous Inquisition is a an ICS (4.0.3) Senseless ROM, meaning essentially all Sense components have been removed in favor of their AOSP counterparts. Everything except the camera app has been replaced. Any work, such as mods or fixes, you would like to contribute would be gladly accepted. The project has one goal, to provide a ROM which is as close-to-AOSP-ICS as possible.

• Based off the HTC 3.32.401.3 OTA
  
• Sense has effectively been removed. Some components may be coming back (such as the camera and music player), as they are better than their AOSP counterparts. I'll provide an option for purists who want AOSP-only-no-matter-what.
  
• Remaining HTC framework beautifully themed to match ICS by shnizlon.
  
• doubleshot kernel - 1512MHz
  
• Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
  
• IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
  
• Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
  
• Over the air updates via ROM Manager.

Device specific shortcomings:
- Video maximum resolution is 720p. Please don't try 1080p, you'll have to reboot to have a working camera if you do so.

Device specific minor bugs:
- Wifi tethering will start, won't bootloop anymore, but doesnt work yet correctly. Use Barnacle Wifi (skip wpa_supplicant on), stop it, then use OpenGarden or Wifi Tethering.
- If your camera is set to non-widescreen and you switched to camcorder and then back, camera will stop working. Reboot will make camera work again. Check in Widescreen resolution for camera and use camcorder after that only, it will work.
- On first setup, your background might be garbled. Select your preferred background, it will be okay.
- System USB mount works, but you will have two icons in notification bar. Use the one starting with Charge only... and Disk... to get to the toggle.

Further notice for S-On users

If your mt4gs is S-On Unlocked, you need additional steps to install this ROM.

- Download the zip, install it from CWM.

- Then unzip the installer

- Look for boot.img in directory kernels/doubleshot/

- Install fastboot tool on your PC

- With the doubleshot boot.img in the directory type in command line:

fastboot flash boot boot.img

- Reboot, enjoy

To enter fastboot, power down phone. Press Power + VolumeDown at same time, keep VolDown down, and release power, it will boot to hboot. There you can use VolUp/Down to navigate. Press Power to select an item.
Select FASTBOOT. Plug phone to USB connected to PC. Then you can use fastboot.

Kernel 3.0 betas are in the process, that tries to resolve blackout issues of the stable versions kernel 2.6. If you want to test, follow the link below:

I don't see what works and what doesn't, does this mean the only bugs are just the minor ones, and possibly some minor ones that one might find when using the phone?
...and one last question, I'm currently one your pyr'o'ice ICS desensed 1.1.3 do you recommend I flash this one?
