So you all know, sound control and fast charge are implemented in the new kernel. (Credit to ezekeel and chad)

These will have options to enable them in RootzBoat v9, but until then, you can use either the app by chad to control fast charge, or:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
this enables it
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
this disables it

For sound control:
echo (0, 1, 2, 3) > /sys/class/misc/soundcontrol/volume_boost
* 0 disables boost, while 1, 2, and 3 are incremental boosts, 3 being the highest
echo 1 > /sys/class/misc/soundcontrol/highperf_enabled
this enables high performance mode
echo 0 > /sys/class/misc/soundcontrol/highperf_enabled
this disables high performance mode.
* WARNING: Battery drain may be significantly higher with high performance sound enabled.

As always, the kernel source is GPL. I'll be posting the thread for it and a full change log when I have a chance. It's finally finished, though ;)
