Virtuous One S

Welcome to Virtuous One S. This is a pretty much stock build of the HTC One S rom with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0. It was tweaked and optimized by the Virtuous Team.

Virtuous S-Series

S-Series ROM's are pretty close to stock, with basic optimisations and tweaks. This series is designed for people who rely on their phone 24/7 and are not looking for the latest and greatest features. These ROM's will only be updated if and when an official release is announced.

Useful information

This rom was build without having actually a device. As there are only a few test devices available we are not sure if this rom will actually work. But we did our best to get all important informations to make this rom booting when there is S-OFF, root and CWM available.

Instructions

• Make sure your device is unlocked and you have CWM installed
  
• Shut down the device
  
• Hold both the Power-button and the Volume-down button until the splash screen appears and the device boots into your CWM recovery
  
• Make a backup of your current ROM
  
• Inside CWM select "wipe data/factory reset" (optional but highly recommended)
  
• Then flash the rom zip as usual

Downloads

Make sure you do a full wipe (aka "wipe data/factory reset" in CWM) before flashing this!!!

Please note that the ROM needs to settle down after the flash so give it at least 10 minutes after booting to reach the normal speed and smoothness!!!

This is very clear. Because the One series phones will be available in a few days. And there are already some test devices outside. And maybe this people wants to test a custom rom. We made a good analysing of the official RUUs from HTC to get all necessary parameters to make a custom rom. So everything should hopefully work.

Great news Chris! I'll be moving back from my SGSII to the ONE S as soon as it comes out. I'll get in touch with you if you need anyone to test again I'd be happy to! I'm looking forward to having fun with this phone!
