HAVING to sbf is bad enough, but seeing "battery to low to program" just makes the situation worse 100x lolol
WELLLLL, after a day of thinking about it, I figured out a lil bypass to this, now nonexistent, steaming dog turd of a problem.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this, so if its elsewhere, please remove ;x
I'VE DONE THIS 3 TIMES NOW, IT WORKS... IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY THIS AND BREAK YOUR PHONE, IT ONLY MEANS YOU CAN'T FOLLOW DIRECTIONS...

1.) take an old charger or usb for ANY MODEL PHONE.
2.) cut the micro end off (the part that goes in the phone).
3.) remove ABOUT 1 INCH OF THE OUTER HOUSING.
4.) regardless of how many wires you see, fold back and tape off all but the RED AND BLACK, OR RED AND GREEN.
5.) splice off enough housing to work with on both of your wires.
6.) on the bottom of your battery, you'll see a + and - sign. Carefully attach the red to the + and the black to the -. Use electric tape to secure them and make sure your wires are not touching one if the other terminals of the battery.
7.) plug the other end into tyre computer.
8.) carefully replace the battery.
9.) boot back into the bootloader and your low battery error should gone!! ;)
10.) plug your good usb in as normal and you should be good to go!
I took some very detailed pics ill upload shortly. Any questions- feel free to ask.

I recently ran into this issue while in Mississippi 1000 miles away from home. Both batteries were dead and I was bootlooping bad with no way to sbf on a dead battery. I bought a cheap iphone cable, cut the head off, stripped form the wires and used the positive and negative on the battery terminals. When I did it I placed the battery in the phone with the wires however I'm sure you can charge the battery just by itself. Good luck bro.

Interestingly enough, on a Motorola BIONIC it was also reported that placing the phone in BP flash mode (i think i got that right) allowed the battery to charge....
