my wifi works just fine no issues here :)
I just wiped cache and dalvik cache and flashed over build 38 .
But you might want to do a clean install :)

B39 borked my wifi even with a clean wipe install but ICZ rc1.8.3 did not.
Ice Cream Zenwich rc1.8.3 is based off of AOKP B39, no wifi problems and has probably (imo) the best kernel (by mr psycho) now for the Vibrant. The DD team has been encouraged by romanbb of AOKP Team Kang to kang and build upon AOKP and put out a rom with a bit more care and fine tuning. I keep going back to it. Just a good group of sharp guys who really know their stuff.
You can find Ice Cream Zenwich rc1.8.3 in the Vibrant development section of this site.

Yeah. Our crack team of testers found the WiFi issue quickly, and Br1ck`d reverted the change in SMALI.
The issue has since been patched in source, and will be included in Build 40 or Milestone 6, whichever comes next. Incidentally, the problem only happens when manually setting up a WiFI access point.

EDIT: tried restoring old EFS folder and reflashing KB5 modem and nothing. what worked was going back to v40 (nandroid). go figure.
