6/27/12 - Unofficial nightlies are discontinued: http://rootzwiki.com...160#entry759592

This is a centralized thread to discuss any issues pertaining to my unofficial nightly cm9 builds. As Dalingrin stated, he doesn't plan to release many more Alphas for now unless there's a major change to test so this will be the best way to get the latest CM9 additions (other than building yourself!).

You should only need to wipe caches coming from a previous cm9 build. Remember, these are not tested builds, simply latest source, so there's a chance of "broken" builds as new features are merged in. Always keep a recent backup and/or be willing to do a full wipe. If you're coming from CM7 you should wipe /data if installing in CWM or use ACMEinstaller2 - see the original CM9 Alpha thread.

These builds are mostly a straight sync from source each night, no other extra modifications have been made (other than fixes to ensure is builds). There is no published changelog for nightlies but you can find the latest merges into CM9 here to see what is being added to CM9: http://tinyw.in/cm9tpmerged (thanks jcsullins for the custom search - link doesn't work in IE. Use this for general CM9 merges: http://review.cyanog...+branch:ics,n,z).

The build is sync'd at approx 4am EST and will be ready to download at approx 4.15am EST.

Downloads

There are multiple ways to get the nightlies:
1) Simply browse and find the latest build directly on our host: http://techerrata.co...angs/tenderloin
2) For live announcement of a new nightly arriving on the server follow our Tenderloin twitter account: https://twitter.com/...!/cm_tenderloin - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN AUTOMATED TWEET BOT NOT A LIVE PERSON (i.e. do not tweet @CM_Tenderloin expecting a reply)
3) *NEW* The nightlies also support OTA update notifications using the Goo Manager app, details here: http://tinyw.in/feSQ

Latest ICS gapps can be found here http://goo-inside.me/gapps or mirrored here http://techerrata.com/browse/gapps

LCD Density fixes: These were taken from dalingrin's Alpha2 thread and are just updated with a new build.prop.
Change to 120dpi: http://tinyw.in/Ja5P
Revert to 160dpi: http://tinyw.in/VUht

Updates:
For updates/announcement on the builds follow me on twitter, or check back here

5/29/12: moboot control was updated to allow us to install TWRP and keep it named as TWRP (http://review.cyanog....com/#/c/16495/).
Please manually update to the 5/29 build using the full rom download, then open goo manager and you'll need to re-install TWRP from the menu. Should be all set after that :)

4/28/12: Incremental updates!!! http://rootzwiki.com...320#entry652886
4/10/12: Added new adreno drivers from qualcomm, these don't seem to have much (any?) effect on performance but hey.. newer is better.. right? :)
4/2/12: http://rootzwiki.com...080#entry593472
3/28/12: http://rootzwiki.com...005#entry582005
3/27/12: TouchPad now has official nightlies! See my post here about the future of my builds: http://rootzwiki.com...post__p__578651
3/10/12: You may need to reflash gapps (20120304) after updating from a nightly before 3/9 to one newer than 3/9
2/28/12: HW video decoding (HD youtube and netfix) are now incorporated (still unmerged in mainline CM code). Thanks dalingrin and jcsullins for getting this together. This means the nightlies currently include everything in Alpha2 and whatever else merged since.
2/18/12: I decided to include Dees_Troy's touchscreen driver and a reboot fix from jcsullins in the nightlies even though they are unmerged since they are valuable additions to the tp.

Credit and Thanks

Of course major thanks to Dalingrin, jcsullins, fattire, green and the rest of the CM touchpad team for making these builds possible. Thanks to my fellow winners in TeamWin and a special shout out to kevank for hosting and onicrom for build support :)

Upgraded from A0.6 to update-cm-9.0.0-tenderloin-KANG-20120216-040001-signed.zip with out a hitch. Of course I did a backup before attempting this, and I wasn't using any of the newer touchscreen or wifi drivers going around. I had no problems downloading the zip file and verified the checksums after download and after copying it to the device.

Downloads are a little funky right now. Most of the time it fails to start, and the one time when it did start, the MD5 sum didn't match.

updated, didn't see any improvement. Lost the full screen hack and touchscreen fix. Reboot still goes to "shut down".
