P.s Remember if you compile directly from Google source you will over write you're recovery back to factory and lose root access. make sure and open your rom.zip ( the one you created from source ) and delete the recovery from it before you flash. This should only apply too Google source as most all 3rd party developers have already removed the factory recovery and added root permission with superuser.apk baked in. Any ideas on how to fix? Saw it mentioned before, but fix wasn't explained.

Make sure your work tree synced completely. Do another "repo sync"
