Flashed and happy! Thank you Beans!

with the previous build I couldn't flash jake bites miss, I would get stuck at the m (thank goodness for boot menu). Will I be able to flash Jakes mods on this new build?

EDIT: It seems anything I try to add to /system, be it flashing a zip (like Jakes) or just adding files, causes my phone to get stuck at the M logo.

flashed, with 70% batt and batt says 100% now, i assume that it needs a batt stat wipe?

i didn't notice till charge light wasn't coming on, this due because it "thinks" its charged??? i'll wipe batt stats and see i guess

Flashed this with a data, cache, dalvik and system wipe even though I had build 1 running - working perfect so far! No problems with charging or anything. Volume+ doesn't seem to be any more stable than dspmanager, although I like the options in it better. The only bug I've noticed is that when I set the battery meter to a line across the top it doesn't show up. Probably something I did wrong when I installed it :)

Great work, Beans! Thanks for all your effort on the droid2!

2.2.4 b2 Wow! Thanks BeansTown106! I was stoked to see Miui getting some love on the D2, and so far this latest release rocks. Top battery bar is back, awesome! Camera works, including zoom. No FC's from volume+.
Will test more and report back.

I tryed the powerboost with 2.2.4 B2 and it boot loops at the boot logo. Can't access cwm. Had to sbf. Sad. But other than that and the 100% battery bug (which I fixed by wiping battery stats and rebooting) this rom is godlike!

So is this considered a "stable" build or a "beta" build...cuz I was about to flash 2.1.6_Stable, and then found this... should i just go with 2.2.4 B2 right out the shoot... never flash MIUI, coming from CM7 nightly for Droid2. Any suggestions? I see from Galnet's site that 2.2.1 is the most recent stable...

it is very stable by itself.

the Powerboost script hasn't worked for me yet and ive tried 3x, had to sbf 3x. Followed the instruction (pretty simple and should work) but boot looped everytime.

going to flash just b2 without mods and run it. will update.... unless you got something coming down the pipe for us :)

vol+ has and hasn't worked. keeping sounds properties has been an issue. i set a certain ringtone/notif. and it sticks sometimes. any fix for this? if i use zedge it will not work. if i copy the file to the miui ringtones folder it works more consistently.

will update

thanks beans!

I've been using ringtone rotator

I have not had any issues since the first build. This has been the most stable and my daily ROM for months. That being said I have never successfully gotten powerboost or jakebites to work well with my R2D2 Droid2. I run Bean's MIUI and supercharger scripts and have been very happy. Powerboost has always led to SBF. Keep up the good work Beans! :)

I have been unsuccessful at getting any MIUI rom on my Droid2...with 2.2.4 B1&2 I get stuck on the M logo, no reboot loop just stuck. ON 2.1.6 I get a boot loop at the M logo... I'm lost... Anyone have any ideas... Bean any ideas?

This is a first for me; first post about the first rom I flashed. Been rooted since last fall, testing the waters of modding my D2. Decided to take the plunge and flashed MIUI 2.1.6 Stable Friday night. Played around with it ( very first ROM flash went smoothly ) for the past couple of days. Very nice rom, glad I picked this one. Read all the threads on the MIUI here and looked over the updates. Went and reflashed to 2.2.4B2 tonight. Apps are loaded and still setting up things, but I think MIUI is the one I will stick with. Kudos to all that had a hand in bringing this to the D2,really changed the look and feel of my cell. Using Droid Overclock and V6 Supercharger with no problems. I have noticed that Handcent does not work, force close notices, so I uninstalled it. Any chance it will be fixed later or is there something I could do to make it work? Also found out Battery Monitor Widget Pro didn't work right in the previous rom, haven't check yet in this one. Other than that, everything else seems to ok. Looks like I will be checking in on this thread to keep up and learn more about what I can do with the settings.

Anyone else having trouble getting ringtones to stick? I remember it coming up on an older build, don't remember what came of it. (Though I see someone else having Ringtone probs with this version also)
From sound settings, ringtone, I use the theme option to set tone, which is in miui folder on sd card. It still shows to be set right, so I don't think using another method to select would make it stick better.
Any ideas? Otherwise geat so far!
