First thing I noticed is that the tablet will reboot if you click the power button twice. Wallet crashes upon startup (probably since there is no NFC on the XOOM). ROM Control crashes when switching from Weather to General UI. That is all I have found so far.

Thanks for putting this on the XOOM and the great work you do.

Same thing here. Everytime Wallet FC's and going to General UI in Rom Control crashes.

Another thing I noticed on wingray is that it still shows a "cell" connection icon down by the clock, even though I'm connected to WiFi. The WiFi icon shows too, and that it's connected, but the cell icon is gray. Since wingray is wifi only, that cell icon shouldn't even show up.

Other than that, it looks to be running alright so far. I'll test it out some more tonight when I have more free time.

Was always hoping for this! Really appreciate it! Love it on my GN, now my tab gets some love. Will send you some money when taxes get here.

AOKP is amazing! 36 chambers of death! Check yo neck!

Looking good so far, can't wait until this is working fully. Getting the same problems as others, General UI crashes, and pressing the power button seems to do something but I'm not sure what... the screen goes black and won't come back on, pressing it twice reboots. Also the Wallet FCs are expected since it doesn't have NFC, just need to edit the GAPPS.

#10 ·
same problems as stated above for me too. Cannot wait either - love this rom and all of Romans awesome work!! Some other things I noticed as well are : no face unlock, no reboot menu, no awesome team kang boot ani, no big menu or search soft key options, no clock options, no show or hide options for legacy menu keys. Still exploring - will get back in a little bit with more feedback. :) thanks so much roman! Asked a week or so ago if Xoom build would b a possibility and u said probably eventually. Never expected this quick!! U rock!! Keep up the good work!!

one thing I am getting aside from mentioned above is when screen is about to go into sleep mode I get the boot animation then goes back to lock screen.
Excited to see what you have up your sleeve, if you want a logcat or anything that I can do to help let me know.

I've compiled builds for the wingray and the stingray. since they are supported by AOSP, everything should be working. I don't have a Xoom so I need you guys to test what works and what doesn't.

stingray - http://goo-inside.me/roms/edt/stingray/aokp_stingray-ota-eng.roman.zip - a33a55f6b79dceb59dded5a8eb19e7a0
wingray - http://goo-inside.me/roms/edt/wingray/aokp_wingray-ota-eng.roman.zip - eaca16215da6f5bbc36aabe2bed44aca

gapps - http://goo-inside.me/roms/edt/gapps/aokp_gapps-ics-403-011312.zip - d9e7682f9ac429f37eaf862560635c8f

experienced users only please. if you need instructions please please don't try this yet.

writing this on my tab so ill make the OP more informative later.
Sweet. Thanks so much! :D

As much as I love EOS on my xoom, AOKP on my nexus is ridiculous and I am dying to try this. Can anyone confirm if 4g is working? I installed AOKP M3 on my wife's grab and she is loving it. Also, is this build overclockable?

I've tried builds 25 and MS3 of AOKP on my Xoom 4G and 3G/4G functionality was also missing. the AOKP forums had other users complaining about this not working in earlier builds of AOKP Stingray as well. I know the dev guys are aware of it, probably just putting out other fires first.

The suspense is killing me!! Lol. Love me some aokp!! Need to be able to get into rom control tho... can the team kang boot ani be used on this or is resolution too far off?

Everything is working for me except rom control as well. Also, wallet force closes. This is sweet though, love your work Roman. I really want this with the realism theme like I have on my gnex. That would be sweeeeeeettttttt! Appreciate the work, great rom.

Like others have said, Wallet still FC'ing (should just be removed), ROM Control FC's when trying to enter it, and the Cell signal still shows on Wingray, when it shouldn't show at all. Also, during the first boot, it tries to activate on your cell network, again, not required for Wingray since it's wifi only.

Works for me too. Wicked. This is great. :D I am going to try a theme and see what happens.

Works awesome! I installed the updated ROM Control app and was psyched that it all worked just like on my GNEX .. so happy to be rocking AOKP on both.

2 things noted ..
1) If you move the brightness slider to be below the toggles to toggles overlap into the upper part of the status bar notification display. Try it out I am sure you'll see what I mean.

2) Please please please include DSP Manager with your ROMs. I flashed it on both the GNEX and the XOOM but not sure it's working right on the Xoom.

That is all I have found so far. Thanks for the great work! Look forward to more builds and releases. I plan to hit up the IRC link to hopefully do more testing for you.

Frack yeah!! Just got this up and running on Xoom after falling in love over the past month with this ROM on Gnex. Still don't have working 3G/4G Radios. I got the working ROM Control apk from post 3, thank you.

Everything Else works and works well. I can change Soft key color, Battery bar, centered mirrored, icons, awesome.

Missing Clock mod, alternate icons for toggles and some other stuff from Gnex.
