You might need to clear some space from the /boot directory. If you have a moboot background tga file, remove that. And the other files that might be taking up space is a webos update uimage file.

Instructions are in the first post of the 3.5 thread. http://rootzwiki.com...enmod-touchpad/ Sometimes searching works too. ;)
Good luck on your RMA. My case developed a crack and the turn around process took almost a month. It since has two new cracks (one on each speaker) but i'm not sending it in this time. It's just not worth it as I know it'll just crack again.

Thanks.. not RMAing it then.. will just put some super glue or something. I see its really a design flaw, case is so weak around the speaker area.

I just put it inside a griffin leather cover I had sitting that I bought from Verizon $10 bundle of iPad 1 case + screen protectors + USB cable.. it's looking alright in there :)

Can anybody shed some light on how to upgrade to moboot 3.5? putting the new moboot in cminstall and running novacom didn't work. The touchad scrolled thru a bunch of righting like it was, but when it rebooted i was still on 3.3.

edit... got it. thanks anyways.
Would you mind sharing. I tried to upgrade moboot thru cwm but the install aborts.

After bricking my touchpad I sent it to HP.
I got a replacement installed CM9 (now 0.6 with bricked kernel 0.5) but I have a problem. In android I have no vibrations. When I boot to WebOS my TP vibrates there (for instance directly after booting), when I then reboot to CM9 for a short time it vibrates in android to but shortly after that it stops. When I directly boot to CM9 it vibrates never.
Has anybody an idea hot to get the vibrations back permanently?
Thanx!
Mine does exactly the same thing.

From what I've been reading lately, this is a ongoing issue.

I can help here, your problem is that the actual OTG cable itself going into the Touchpad doesn't have a current running through it (which triggers the Touchpad into thinking something is plugged in). You need the OTG adapter, but you also need a Female USB Y cable that you use to give the actual cable connecting to the TP power. Like this - http://images.icecat...670675-3146.jpg

See if you can find a cheap one near you - I think I got mine for a few pounds and that solution works for me.

Yeah I've ordered one just hasn't come in yet so hopefully when it does ill be ale to get it to work.

I thought I'd try it without it just to see if it would work.

Thanks for the help mate.

Hello,

I installed the 0.6 version and works great, apart from a problem I have with Google apps. I used the following versions:

1) Gapps ICS 4.0.3 11.12.22.zip (Gmail works, Market doesn't download or install apps)
2) gapps-ics-20111230.zip (same as above)
3) gapps-ics-20120207-signed.zip (same as above)
4) signed_GAPPS-IML74K-010112.zip (nothing works; the apps don't even open)
5) EOS_GApps_ics_4.0.3_v10.5.zip (Market finally works, but Gmail crashes while it tries to open!)

Any suggestion of how can I use the market from the last solution with the Gmail of another?

Thanks in advance

Try this version of gApps

http://www.mediafire...12u43l7udkrlzx0

I just reinstalled from scratch yesterday and had the same problem. Updated from CM7 to CM9 without probelms but going straight to 0.6 with any other gApps didn't work for me.

PS: You may want to totally uninstall first. Put that file into the Palm, Inc File folder

http://goo-inside.me...ACMEUninstaller

redo the install but the last line will be like this and then it will be removed.

“novacom.exe boot mem:// < ACMEUninstaller″
