Love this kernel. Been running it since GB on my ns4g lol. Would love to see USB audio out though.

The V2.0RC2 test kernel is working fine. There will be no official release until Google has released the official JB kernel sources.

Will the official release have USB audio enabled?

The kernel support for USB audio is already included as modules (search thread for info on how to load it). However afaik there are still things missing on the ROM level to switch the output from internal to the USB DAC.

Yeah beta tag or not this kernel has been money for me combined with Pete's latest Bugless Beast. I'm sitting at 70% after 11 hours with 2 hours of screen-on time (I have the hyperion 3800mah battery that was on sale on Amazon, but regardless it's still better than I'd been getting with other kernels)

Thanks Ezekeel,

I did load the modules and I am using Xenon HD 3.0 (JB Rom). No luck getting the Nexus to push audio out to my Fiio E17. The sound was coming out of the phone speaker. I suppose we will have to wait until our Rom developers can enable this function. I hope it is possible because it would be really cool to have this ability.

Looking forward to your kernel updates.

I thought they already did? Even before they released the aosp source to build roms?

No. Only the JB-pre kernel sources are released. And now JBQ is on holiday, so this actually might take a while.
