Special Note: If you use Titanium backup for restoration (shame on you) j/k restore APPS ONLY NO DATA !
What's with dissing TiBu? Yeah, I know it can be abused, especially by those who chose to restore ALL apps & data. But I've restored non-system apps & data many, many times using TiBu without a problem ... following "GLD's Method for a Clean Install and Restore Using Titanium Backup" posted at DF. If there's a bonafide reason for shaming folks, I'd honestly appreciate hearing it, since I've yet to see it being an issue ... and having done so multiple times the past couple of days.

Wow Lou, I leave for 12 hours and come back to a new ROM?!! Awesome, I'll give it a try. Are you personally running your Defiant kernel with this ROM, or something else?

Hey Lou why did you just use regular source. I thought you'd use Pete's source....BTW he has included Facebook sync in his latest. But to be honest I haven't had a chance to flash this or Pete's, I just watch his github. But I am very excited for this.

Dammit lou why do youhave to tempt me so? Lol. I used ur ROM on my incredible for a bit and it was very stable. I just dont like sense anymore. I do agree that GOOGLE has outdone themselves with ICS. Mmm..ice cream sandwiche. Ooh sorry got a lil off topic there. Must be my blue moon kick. Mmm... blue moon. There i go again. Lmfao. Anyway i cant wait to try this out. I do want to ask if maybe you plan on doing a larger work space? Im using a 4x5 no landscape or search bar mod on revolutionHD and i love the no search bar and more space. Other than that glad to see you make the AOSP jump

Hey lou,

This looks awesome. I enjoy your videos too. I think you are really on to something. I have some questions (sorry if they are noob questions).

You mentioned that the rom is optimized and smooth. Are these tweaks you are making sacrifice battery life? To what extent can a ROM effect battery life, or is it mostly the kernel that influences this?

Lou,

Just want to give a big "Thank You" to you for your time and your work. You're the first dev I feel I can identify with on a fairly personal level, mostly due to the awesome videos you post on your releases. And I've been modding phones since I bought my OG Droid on release day. The face time you provide is a big plus. Keep up the great work.

This ROM is exactly what I was looking for. I'm with you as far as thinking stock AOSP is the way to go. I've tried a few of the others, but none of them "did it" for me. This one is pretty much perfect IMHO. I can't wait for your updates and look forward to running Redemption on my GNex for the long haul.

Being a long time Wintel Admin and having switched to a Linux/Oracle/MYSQL position a few months ago, I can appriciate what it is you guys do. I plan on picking up Android development very soon myself and hope it would be OK to contact you with any questions.

Again, thanks for all your time and hard work. It the devs like you that make being an Androidaholic so much fun.

- Matt
