SO here is the process I have taken this time when I rooted (still no market place).

Re-downloaded the R2.zip file
Flashed my K1
skipped all the setup prompts and rebooted into recovery (after enabling USB debugging)
once in recovery I mounted data and system
I then ran adb on my laptop:
adb shell
adb rm -rf /data/firstboot
reboot

I then went into settings -> Manage applications -> force stop and cleared cache on google service framework, market
reboot

is there anything I am missing? or wrong order?

Well I gave up on this. I moved over to CM9 port. No issues there at all, working great.

I dunno y bt my device cannot restart in recovery mode. I tried with Rom Manager. Result : Nothing

I tried to type k1recovery in the terminal but it was showing reboot : Operation not permitted

I am sorry if I have overlooked anything. Kindly help me out. I did the following

I just extracted the file K1_CWM_120109_Rooted_nvflash_R2.zip (As I didnot find any exact file name called K1_Stock_120109_nvflash_R2.zip as you told on installation process) and Double click the "flash-windows.bat" file. It happened perfectly.

Now as the restart in recovery mode is not running, I cannot find any options such as install from zip file from sd card or install update.zip.

Also kindly tell me what is the diferrence between K1_CWM_120109_Rooted_nvflash_R2.zip & K1_CWM_120109_M_GE_Rooted.zip files

And how to install the following files:

updater_120109_R2.zip

updater_120109_M_GE_R2.zip

Again sorry for bothering you so much with a lot of questions but I really love my tablet and I want it to function perfectly. Thank you.
