notrim5

The kernel is identical to notrim4 except it's modified to show the Silicon type as well as the trim type (via checkt):

# checkt
current cpu temp: 59600
# of times you were throttled recently: 0
CPU Trim Type: trim_val 2P4 (1.5Ghz capable, hw trimmed)
CPU Silicon Type: si_type: Standard (bummer...)

I'm going to guess that all of us are binned "standard" regardless of how they're trimmed....

This is what I got:( is there a way to get 1.4 stable enough? I can live with that.

Here goes my battery life measurement for today. Now I get to put my battery in the other nexii and see how each of the 3 fare with the hardware.

well why not have speed and battery life. on his 2.1 i was getting 11.5 hours and at 36% left w/1.35ghz. on his new no trim i got 14 hours and at 40% left w/1.52. so why not have extra speed when my battry is lasting longer =)

How much time were you getting with your screen on? We're you on the stock or extended battery? Is this based on the devs most recent stock kernel? Did you adjust any kernel settings?

While I am about to run notrim5 to see what my phone gets, (upgrading apps as i type this), I'm able to vouch that at least for me, my phone's battery absolutely has improved on notrim kernels. It's not huge, but it's there.

As for the output from this script... lol man your gonna need to make a table for people to look it up or you could be here for weeks. Hoping mine is special as checkt has never said i've been throttled, and i have had it on 1.6 giving it a good workout. Around 2 hours screen on here, with no UV. If anyone is interested, my best Antutu score was 7430, and best Quadrant was 3777. This is on Stock 4.0.4.

EDIT:

From the looks of it, I got 2P4 Standard. 1.5 Capable, HW Trimmed.

What exactly does HW Trimmed mean?
