Hey guys

I uploaded 2.4.0 this morning but haven't made any announcement yet. Trying to track down a couple of issues, and I'm out all day today. Change logs probably coming tomorrow morning if everything checks out. In the meantime feel free to play with it.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using RootzWiki

I've been running notrim for a few hours and it's every bit as smooth as 2.3.0 notrim4 - which I deem as the prime notrim version so far.

Hey Imo,

I know you're a busy guy and all, but by chance did you see this?

Could this be implemented as a color setting of some sort?

Been testing 2.4 since last night and its doing extremely well. This is in less than desirable area we are in a cabin in the mountains and had off and on decent signal. 8 hours with an hour and 15 min screen time. This is uploading pictures with a poor 3g signal so pretty impressed. With 65% left

How do I enable the fast usb charging? I have a dedicated USB charging port on my laptop but it still seems to charge slower than with AC.

Are you having better results than you were with 2.3.0?

leanKernel v2.4.0

- Linux 3.0.22
- Linux 3.0.23
- lkflash: added the notrim option
- OPP table and smartreflex tweaks
- fast USB charging by chat0989, and ffc toggle script by me (open terminal, type "ffc" without quotes and then enter).
- omap-serial fixes
- nfc wakelock reduced
- reverted c4 state patch due to instability
- fixed some opp/sr initialization bugs, a couple introduced with 2.0.0

Exp versions include ColorControl V2 by Ezekeel.

Ezekeel's colorcontrol feature has been in my experimental branch for some time now. I think it will probably make its way into my stable branch eventually - I just haven't had time to play with it yet.

The ffc command is just a toggle - it will toggle the present state. If you want to get a certain setting to stick at boot, you'll need to use an init.d script (or perhaps the incredikernel app can do it too). I may end up expanding the ffc script to create an init.d script but I'm sure Jake will get to it first. ;)

Imo, did you revert whatever patch is causing bad battery life for some on the 2.x.x kernels in the 2.4.0 update?

Current:
Google Nexus 4 running MMuzzy's French Vanilla AOSP (Jan 12); Franco's r53 kernel; TWRP 2.3.3.2

Google Nexus 7 running MMuzzy's French Vanilla AOSP (Jan 13); Franco's r41 kernel;

Retired: Galaxy Nexus (CDMA), Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid
