I do like this! I'm in the same boat as you, with not wanting to use custom launchers and what not. It makes it a bit cleaner. Thanks for sharing.

Edit: Silly me. I tried applying to a stock deodexed rom, and for obvious reasons it didn't work. If you could make a version for that, it would be great!

I'll work on that today. I have some other version I created as well. I can basically theme it to be any color, even the border.

I'm running a deodexed 4.0.3 ROM (Pete's latest rendition) and would love to have something like this. I'm using the softkeys mod to make them blue, so now the white of the search bar stands out like a sore thumb. But, any chance you'd make one that's not borderless? Basically, keep it exactly as it looks now but just make it ICS blue.

I have created borderless versions for both 4.0.3 and 4.0.2 deodexed. I'll be working on the fully ICS themed versions tonight.

So you'll be making one WITH borders but in ICS blue? That's fantastic. I look forward to giving it a try.

Stupid question. In the meantime I'm going to flash a borderless one to see how it looks and I want to make sure doing so won't mess with my softkeys mod. They'll remain as I have them now, right?

I am working on it now. Still have to create the .9's, but its getting there.

This will not effect your softkey mod, because it does not touch system ui or framework.
