What a gift it is to have the same kernel run on both the GSM and LTE versions of the phone! This kernel will run on all 4.0.3 ROMS on both the GSM and CDMA Galaxy Nexus.

Feedback is definitely appreciated!

Apex Kernel v5 (1/1/12)
  • Updated to 3.0.14
  • Re-enabled user voltage control
  • Considerable undervolt (check table below) - credit to coolbho3k
  • GPU overclock to 384MHz - credit to coolbho3k
  • Optional 1.35 overclock slots (boots to 1.2GHz by default) - credit to imoseyon
  • init.d support
  • I/O tweaks -- credit francisofranco
  • Charging and powering up the phone works while phone is off now.

Old Version

Test Build 2 (12/19/2011)
  • Removed user configurable voltage (they weren't working anyways)
  • Healthy UV by default (my settings -- see 2nd post)
  • AnyKernel package -- should improve compatibility with more modified ROMS
  • Init.d support (put your scripts in /system/etc/init.d)
  • IO tweaks
  • 1.35GHz OC slot (if you want 1.2GHz, use SetCPU to set it at boot)

Fab... Can you post a soft key mod that works with 4.0.3? just can't handle going to 4.0.3 to try your kernel without the updated soft keys...

what a coincidence, Fabolous popped up on winamp soon as I refreshed the section haha. Downloading the, "imma do it".

1.4 kernal a no-go on my nexus. Slow down on splashscreen. Flashing 1.2 version now.

Final Edit:

Running 1.35 Version perfect. Voted.
