[TESTING]Clockwork On Boot{Modified from PB}

This utilizes an init.d script to enable boot to recovery on every boot to save from the potential bootloop/brick.

CREDIT:

Droid Th3ory for the amazing job bringing the RAZR init.d Support

Code:
x Flash this zip in recovery.
x After boots back up type this in recovery to open toggle menu(may need to mount /system r/w):

Code:

<br /> su<br /> sysrw<br /> razrtoggle<br />

x Press enter to toggle the mod on

You MUST deny root from bootstrap in order for this to work.

Thx for this! I installed .zip OK, but get razrtoggle not found after su.

Can you explain how to mount properly and what hijack is/what you recommend as work around?

**hmm, I'm looking in /system/xbin but razrtoggle isn't there**

Hmm. razrtoggle still not found and its not in xbin. /shrug

sysrw is command? Or are you stating to run rw for system?

Look forward to it as it's a great thing to have

*files just not copying. Extracted xbin files from zip and sysrw and razrtoggle runs but with error cuz I don't want to try other directory cuz it overrides stuff. Should be something easy my guess*

Ya just need to edit the updater-script for the zip

NOTE: may need to disable the hijack for this to work properly, as seen with the BIONIC as well.

Do you mean go back intoo bootstrap recovery???? Where is toggle menu??? Then where and how do I disable 'highjack'????

We are closer.

When running razrtoggle it has a bad pointer as something calls for pb.cfg and not razr_pb.cfg

Can't toggle on and off also.

Damn alcohol (hangover) and dev not playing nice right now. Thought I pointed it to new toggle I fix it

Ok I handed the zip over to Droid th3ory to add in his init.d support. Once he drops the files in it will be live later today

Is this reversible? What if I do a restore before this was added, do I just upload it from recovery again, or is this a permanent change?

So is it possible that we will have some Th3ory love? Purity ran great on my bionic before I replaced it with this razr... Too bad my bionic started flaking out.. Its a decent phone... But i'm loving this razr...

Id say once the us fxz is released there will be roms. I know dt has a rom for it already he just hasent released it. I believe it's called slice

My guess is you are OK. Nothing ran thus far so no changes to boot.

if u don't mind me asking BMC...what are the problems so far?? what are the differences from bionic to razor? Anything I can help with specifically? I can't promise anything but I know my way around pretty well

Basically just need to relook over my code for the toggle. It works flawlessly in PB but i stripped all the other functions except for the cwrhack toggle and it can't toggle back off. Hopefully I can look at it today
