Once you use the tools you can now get a recovery and CM7

Umm what if you are running leaked gingerbread should it still work because my root failed.

having trouble getting the serial number on linux on my mom's incredible2
just says "waiting for device"
recognized my incredible tho

even tried the DDMS, but it didnt recognize it either

reinstalled drivers, it showed up and accepted my key code, but nothing happened

Make sure HTC sync is not installed and also that the phone is connected as charge only
