Trinity for HTC Sensation 4G

  • Short feature list, less is more, kernel speaks for itself
  • Based on HTC's CRC LE source
  • Boots 168/1674 (168MHz - 1890MHz full range currently)
  • TUN (Tunneling/VPN support)
  • CIFS (Samba support)
  • EXT4 tweaks
  • VM Tweaks
  • Goal: Most lean build achievable.
  • Aims at performance, and envelope will be pushed

Thanks to @RyanMacG for euroskank hosting

Thanks to @cayniarb, saved me a lot of time thanks to initial OC code from Tiamat

Thanks to @RootzWiki for the HTC Sensation 4G to work on!

Uses Koush's Anykernel to install on your roms.

The flashing of Trinity only on fresh rom installs is encouraged because the anykernel script will use the ramdisk on the current kernel, and it is meant to be the rom's kernel the ramdisk is from, if you flash Trinity over kernels other than the rom's default one, you will get undefined behaviour.

Files @:
www . Der Kernel . com

SQL in filename == also replaces libsqlite.so

Builds for cm7, miui, Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5 (GB)

RD in filename == includes optimized ramdisk
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an early build and i see room for improvement in several areas, doesn't mean i am not using it to power my "work phone".

Awesome to see another renowned kernel dev come to the Sensation! Backing up now so I can reinstall the stock kernel and try this bad boy out. I'm guessing no UV on this one?

Stupid question I know but, with anykernel is this compatible with anything or just sense builds? Just curious as I'm running cm.

Installed and running great, using SetCPU to control clocks. CPUs seem to be obeying set limits and profiles.

Just wondering, is the conservative governor functional? I generally like to use that for screen off. Or should we stick with ondemand for now? Is undervolt coming in the future?

Running on Pyramid3D 8.2.1 (2.3.4 XE build, Sense 3.0) @ 384-1188 MHz. Sense stripped, running 360 launcher as default and scrolling smooth as butter. :)

Thing is screaming fast, as you can tell from my quadrant (at 1.89Ghz :wink2: ). Very responsive but Little warm on daily usage. Great start though! Cant wait to see this project progress :android-smile:

Great. I hate your phone already haha. Mine used to lock up past 1.72 GHz on Faux and Bricked, so I stopped going past that clock a while back.

Another question (sorry!), but is CPU1 supposed to be on all the time? My screen has been off for at least 10 minutes and CPU1 is still responding to cat commands.
