Transformer Pad Infinity Unboxed and Benchmarked Against New iPad

UPDATE: Per the source site, ASUS has asked that all information related to the Transformer Infinity be pulled until June 25. The videos below are no longer playable. We apologize for the inconvenience

ASUS' Transformer Pad Infinity is the step-up model from the Transformer Prime. First announced at MWC back in February, the newest addition to the Transformer line still hasn't been given an official release date. However, the tech testers over at Richie's Room were able to get their hands on one, and did up a couple of videos that you'll be sure to enjoy.

The first is the standard unboxing video, which isn't all that interesting, unless you have a thing for watching stuff come out of boxes.

The next one you should find more engaging, as the testers put the Infinity up against the iPad third-gen in a series of benchmark tests designed to gauge performance of the processor, web browser, and JavaScripting. The Infinity scores better in 3 out of 4 tests, so check out the video and get an idea of where it outperforms Apple's latest darling.
