Asus, Samsung (Galaxy S 2 line), and HTC (Sensation & Amaze) started the ICS update movement; it is nice to see Sony join in as they've finally released an ICS update for the Xperia S.. This is huge news for Sony Xperia S users since the update brings much needed improvements throughout the whole system. Users finally get to experience ICS features plus additional Sony-branded applications including the new “WALKMAN”, “Album” and “Movies” applications for a "better" media experience.

Android 4.0.4 is the version users will see with this update. The OTA update begins today, but users will be notified once it is available for them during the staggered rollout. If you are the type of Android fan who doesn't like to wait you can do it manually on your computer either with their web-based Xperia Update, PC Companion or Bridge for Mac.
