A Festivus for the rest of us!
You may or may not have celebrated one of the many holidays that take place coincidentally near the Winter Solstice. If you did, and your parents/wife/husband/kids/boyfriend/girlfriend were generous enough to get you a fun toy that is of the Android variety, you are in luck. RootzWiki just happens to have all the information you need for extracting all the pleasure you can from said toy.

On the flipside, you may already be familiar with who we are and what we do here, so I'll be brief. Below are the device forums that you may be interested in if you feel like rooting, theming, modding, or just putting a few new apps on your shiny new phone/tablet/camera.

What did you get?
Since this is Saturday's Big Question, however, we'd like to know what you got or what you didn't get. If you got the device that was at the top of your list, what was it and why did you want it?

Personally, I had an Android-free holiday. I was tinkering with the idea of picking up either the Samsung Galaxy Camera or Nexus 7 32GB HSPA+ and running either of them as my daily driver (I'm just dying to leave Verizon), but thought better of it and am planning on seeing what's coming down the pipeline after CES in January. I'm not exactly sure what I'm hoping for, but would love to see any of the following (and yes I realize a few of these are pipe dreams): the Motorola X (with unlocked bootloader), the Polaroid Android Camera with competitive pricing (under $500), better Chromebook availablity, and last but not least, (and this one is a stretch) an Xperia Play 2/PS Vita Phone. As one of 8 people on the planet that like the original Xperia Play, I'd love to see one with at least a dual-core processor and 4G. It won't happen, but a boy can dream, can't he?
