Later that same year, he was introduced to the Verizon community through the Fascinate, which carried him from Eclair all the way to Ice Cream Sandwich. BAMF Paradigm Brings Lockscreen Shortcuts in 2.2

BAMF Paradigm, which was already the first Jelly Bean custom ROM to support the CM10 theme engine, is now one of the first Jelly Bean ROMs to offer custom lockscreen shortcuts in its latest release, version 2.2 for the GSM and Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones and the Nexus 7. This feature allows you to add three custom lockscreen shortcuts, and you can decide whether the left-most shortcut toggles sound mode or launches the camera app. Other changes in 2.2 include fixing DRM/Hulu Plus issues and other bugfixes. To recap, some of BAMF Paradigm's key features are highlighted below with screenshots I took from my Verizon Galaxy Nexus.
  • First, the crowning achievement of 2.2: custom lockscreen shortcuts (aka targets - second screenshot shows how I have it implemented on my phone)

  • Unique BAMF-style notification toggles, called "Quick Settings"

  • Performance/kernel settings

  • System settings including a built-in ad blocker - other settings allow you to enable/disable apps, remount your /system directory, etc.
