AOKP has reached its first Jelly Bean milestone, but the word "milestone" is apparently a relic from the Ice Cream Sandwich days. In any event, AOKP Jelly Bean Build 1 is here, and it brings a slew of stability improvements and new features, notably the ability to choose your own notification pulldown background. Here is a list of some of the key features (with accompanying screenshots from the Nexus 7 build - some of these features were already present in the nightly builds):

ROM Control, the center for AOKP-specific settings

• Performance options (kernel settings)

• Lockscreen options including weather and battery percentage (weather data options are in a separate section in ROM Control)

• Navigation bar softkey options

• Notification toggles

• "Choose notification background" in General UI section of ROM Control, second screenshot below shows how the background I chose looks in landscape mode)

• "Swag Papers" app for AOKP-branded wallpapers (access them by long-pressing on homescreen and choosing "Wallpapers" - it's one of the app choices that appears)

• "About AOKP" panel in ROM Control with built-in links to AOKP's Website, Gerrit code review, Github, IRC channel, and a list of the team members.
