AOKP has to be one of the most feature-rich ROMs out right now, and if you're not into flashing nightlies, then the AOKP has you covered with their MR1 builds. Team Kang says "goodbye" to the Acer a510 while welcoming the Vibrant to the fold, and introduces several major new features. The team also has some big announcements coming in April, stay tuned

CyanogenMod users are going to be getting a taste of yummy pie (no, not key lime) in the upcoming builds. The team has announced that they merged the code to implement the much loved feature from Paranoid Android: Pie Controls.

As many of you already know, the long-awaited Android 4.2.2 update to BAMF Paradigm arrived late Tuesday night as BAMF Paradigm 3.1. Since BAMF Paradigm is one of my personal favorites, I took the liberty of providing you with a screenshot tour. This ROM is unlike the scores of CyanogenMod/AOKP/Paranoid Android clones, hybrid ROMs and stock-plus ROMs in that there are a significant number of features, nearly all of them originally coded by Team BAMF members (in other words, very few cherry-picks).

In the early hours of the morning while you were dreaming of electric sheep, Team Kang was preparing a little treat for us all to enjoy when we woke up. That little treat is their fifth build of their JB-MR1 ROM, and while it isn't a feature heavy release, the team has added more supported devices and a couple of treats that you will definitely enjoy.

RootzWiki member drewX2 has managed to port a booting build of CyanogenMod 10 to the Droid DNA, in which one of the biggest hurdles has been cleared - it now has working Internet access (though only on 3G/4G). Calls can be made and received but sound isn't yet working (though the OP told me that text and MMS work), but this is still a huge step forward. Now that drewX2 has working radio for the DNA, a fully functional CM build could drop at any time.

While the weekend is winding down and Monday looms on the horizon, all hope is not lost for our heroes at the Android Open Kang Project have given us a gift. Just about 2 weeks ago, Android 4.2.2 was released to the public and since then Team Kang has been hard at work getting us a build to run. Now, it is available to the public. If you own a Motorola handset on Verizon, this is your lucky build; welcome to AOKP!
