Swiftkey 3 Out Of Beta And Temporarily On Sale

Swiftkey has been to a many people the premiere keyboard application for some time. The application has long used magic to learn typing styles and help users come up with better predictions. I was skeptical at first that this could become my primary keyboard, especially since I was a loyal Swype user for years, but the latest version has been solid. Now Swiftkey 3 is out of beta and available in the Play Store and the Amazon Appstore. Here is what they have in store for users that upgrade:

Smart Space - fixes typos even if you miss spaces as you type
New look - two beautiful new themes for your keyboard
Easier layout - larger space bar, quick punctuation key and other tweaks
New languages - seven new languages for our international friends
Improved prediction - the words you want, more of the time

With the full release, the TouchType team is also looking to break into the enterprise market. Their goal is to help correct predictive errors that can occur within typing prescription names. Swiftkey already touts great predictive ability, saving billions of keystrokes or taps, themes, and a separate application for tablet users. For a limited time, Swiftkey is on sale for $1.99, reduced from the four dollar regular price. Users who had purchased or downloaded Swiftkey X when it was offered for free on Amazon can upgrade from there for free. I would suggest uninstalling the beta, going to the Appstore, then to all applications and downloading it fresh.

Are you a user or fan of Swiftkey? Is Swype still the way to go? Share your preference in the comments!
