Samsung Releases Source Code for Galaxy S lll

Great news for Samsung Galaxy III (GT-I9300) owners, Samsung has released its Kernel Source Code. This release is coming just days after the official release of the international version (GT-I9300). This might be an indication that we can "safely assume" the same will happen with the US variants of the SGS3 once they are available.

A release of source code ensures that ROM developers will be hard a work to create amazing custom ROMs we have grown to love. Check out the SGS3 Forum for releases as early as the next couple of weeks (if not sooner, as quickly as some devs work). If you are interested in looking at or working with the code, check it out at Samsung Open Source. Exciting time ahead for the Samsung Galaxy S 3! What are you looking forward to most now that the source is available?
