Another day and another instance of Apple suing somebody. Well, this time they've gone after Motorola and Google. Again..... After all, it's no secret that Apple really, really hates Google. Steve Jobs was willing to run his company into the ground if it meant the destruction of Android. Unfortunately for the people over in Mountain View, though, this time they have to hand over all aquisition data to Apple.

Since the beginning of Android it seems, Apple has been waging war. Not a war with weapons or robots or time traveling gypsies, but a war with lawsuits. One of the more recent cases is a patent lawsuit between Motorola and Apple dating back to 2010 (yes, that's recent in the US justice system). After much paperwork and lawyer bashing, a judge has now ordered Motorola to turn over patent and development data to Apple. However, in a bizarre turn of events, that same judge has ordered Google to turn over all the data regarding the proposed acquisition of Motorola as well. This has caused quite a stir since the data of the acquisition data could contain sensitive roadmap and development data pertaining to the future of Android.

The duo's stance on the matter is that, since Moto Mobility will remain a separate entity from Google, none of Google's own data should have to be turned over. In a statement from the lawyer's at Moto:


This will be the first time that Apple and Google have actually fought each other in court, as opposed to just going after the OEMs. The trials, slated for June 11th, should put this matter to rest once and for all.
