Friday's Big Question: How Big Is Too Big?

Holy Huge Phones Batman!
Pick your poison: the new Droid DNA (with an unlocked bootloader, good work Jeff), the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the Nexus 4, the Sharp Aquos. What do these all have in common? They're freaking huge! Ever since the Droid X was built with a .6" larger screen than the OG Droid and the Droid Incredible, it seems as though the humongous phone arms race has grown bigger and bigger (pun intended).

Is Small Dead?
Now that even Apple is making their devices larger, it seems as though there is no turning back. Gone are the days where a 3.7" device was large enough (and came with reasonably attractive specs). Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but when I hold my old Motorola Droid, I wax nostalgic for the days when my phone fit nicely in my pocket and securely in my hand.

What Do You Think?
Today's Friday's Big Question is simple... am I wrong? Is everyone okay with the impending Phablet revolution? Do I need to accept that phones are just going to inhabit some world in between the tablet and the small devices of yester-year?

What do you think? Do you like the direction OEMs are going in with the size of our "mobile" devices? Or do I have at least a few folks on my side who wouldn't mind having a smaller device as a phone and a larger one as a tablet?

Hit us up, and Happy Friday!
