RootzWiki is Now on Google Currents
One of Google's latest beta projects is known as Currents. This app, available on Android and iOS, presents your chosen news sources in an easy to read, magazine-style interface, gathered from published editions of your favorite sources of info. Of course, everyone's favorite source of info on Android news, hacking and the like is RootzWiki! If you're a Currents user, you can now subscribe to our edition!
With Currents, you can subscribe to the latest content from online media and blogs. Once you have your sources, you can browse, read, or share the content with your friends. The "Trending" headlines will feed you the most popular stories of the day from your sources, including videos and the newest headlines from all around the world. Currents also syncs with your Google account, so anywhere you go, and no matter which device you're using, your editions will follow you, so you'll always be on top of the latest news
If you have your own blog or website, you can access the Google Currents Producer, which will allow you to create your own edition to publish for the world to see. The edition you create can pull information, not only from your blog, but also from an RSS feed, your Twitter account, Facebook, or Google + pages. If you want other publications to follow, you can visit the Editions Home Page, and see some of the most popular sites from around the world. Editions are optimized for tablets and smartphones, but the tablet experience simply can't be beat. Currents is also tied to Google Analytics, so if you're a publisher you can monitor which content is the most appealing to your audience.
